Moshup Beach, Aquinnah

Best night of sleep in days and I slept later than I wanted. But out by 7:30 a.m., rode my bike to my friend’s house and we walked to the beach from there. Swam in the ocean! A lovely dip! Our regular ritual and it was wonderful. Day of sunshine, swimming, taking Wave to beach, watching him learn to body surf, bike rides, napping, talking. . . a true vacation day. Tonight we all got in our cars, Will’s family and our family and drove out to Aquinnah. Everyone was having dinner at the restaurant where Will propose to Franci, the Outermost Inn, and before that we stopped at Moshup Beach to see where he actually proposed and had the photo session. Then Wave and I split off so they could enjoy the dinner. We went to the lighthouse and had fish and chips and a burger from a stand, ate outdoors with views of the sea and cliffs. Home at dark and he is now asleep beside me in bed after I gave him a piggy back while asleep up the stairs!
