#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Edgartown Moon
After leaving another fun party with my friends tonight, Frank drove to the Katama boat landing in Edgartown. We had to get a good look at the orange moon. My friend is staying just a seven minute bike ride away and my two daughters and I , with Wave on the tag-a-long bike behind his mother that Frank bought for him, rode up the bike path to my friend’s house for dinner. A lovely day spent relaxing mostly, a true day of REST and fun. Started at 5:30 for me, awake and working on a poem. Then my long rambling walk ending at Katama Beach. Perri dropped Wave off so he could swim in the waves with me while they got coffee. We played in the waves until two people of a littler variety, well, children his age, arrived with their mother. Then he was immediately introducing himself and playing in the waves with his new friends. Happily, I watched. A day of deep gratitude for being with family and friends in this lovely place with the joy of the wdding behind us.
