#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Katama
Home, just now. Dark. Quiet house. Long day, packing, traveling, waiting for ferry in evening. Lovely day spent with Will, Franci, his parents and us on the island. Leaving the house, cars packed full. Relaxing. Still talking over all our happiness. I am struck, driving in the afternoon with Frank from Chilmark to Oak Bluffs to the ferry with emotion. It’s over. The wedding. Happy sadness. Feeling full and very satisfied and nostalgic. Met my friend for a hug after I walked, alone, this morning around Katama, to the beach, to the farm. Goodbye to the piglets. I will see my friend off island before she heads west again. Franci and Will very happy. Still, so much to tell. Little by little.
