Sleeping Beauties

Frank woke me before six. Did I want to go on a bike ride with Perri and Wave? Yes, in fact, I did. They had woken early and so we went on a lovely early morning bike ride around Katama, through the Farm Institute where we had the pleasure of seeing the pigs fast asleep in their pen in a field. Good morning to the cows and the sheep of the fields as well. Good morning to the monarch butterflies in the field too. It was a great morning and a great start to a lovely day of swimming at Katama and swimming at Chappie and more bike rides and family time. Tonight, after a bike ride into Edgartown for ice cream, I had requests from both my daughters for shoulder rubs and happily gave them. Lots of laughs today, and gratitude.
