Afternoon at the Charles

The air grows cool. Clouds hang in most of the day. We are in September now. I have a long walk in the woods and then a shorter swim. Wave goes off with his mother to meet his kindergarten teacher. Hmmm. School is so-so he says when he returns. Tomorrow he will get on the bus and some of us will be there at the end of the driveway to see him off. Third generation Pine Hill kindergartner! I enjoyed my day, my busy day which was mostly online. Israeli group, coaching client, and WWC board meeting. When I was done I walked across the field to where Frank was on the phone at the river. Took a brief nap on the hammock by the tennis court. The heat of summer has passed and I felt a chill. Tomorrow we may have more much needed rain to fill the brooks and deepen the river.
