I love how lots of good exercise helps me sleep well. And I’ve been sleeping well. Sure, a quiet house, and no school this morning, no bus stop with Wave, that helped too. But I miss him. Sunny this morning, cool as early autumn. I had a busy day. Monday, setting up groups for the week. On my walk I spent the walk talking and that was okay. I prefer to be moving during long phone calls. Good to talk with my co-facilitator about the Israeli group and plan a warm-up exercise while in motion, and to answer questions about a group for a potential member. And still, I noticed the gold of the ferns in sunlight, the ferns that were a spectacular green unfurling just a few short months ago. The brook is dry again. We need more rain and may get it in the form of a storm by end of week. Got so much done today. Yay. And tonight, in addition to sharing and commenting on each other’s poems in Monday night group we had such a blast playing and laughing with our Zoom appearances! It was so fun! I don’t think we’ve ever had the pleasure of being so playful with each other. In the late afternoon my daughter came up the spiral staircase from the deck beneath my bedroom doors and she likes to come in this way lately, and I love to see how she’s suddenly at the glass doors next to where I sit and work and she comes in talking fast and I stop what I’m doing and become a very good listener and she’s solving a problem and I’m glad to help and then poof! she’s gone, and that’s what I love about being a mother and a good listener.
