And so the season turns. Fall Equinox.

And I have had another wonderful night of rest. And there is the chilly morning to greet me. I swam. I prepared for groups. I worked on taxes. I talked on the phone with a dear friend. I got invited by my daughter to walk with her to the bus stop to meet our boy off the bus. And he was smiling and so happy to see her. And we walked home together and she carried him a bit, and I carried him on my back a bit, and we were all happy in the sunny afternoon. I went back to taxes. After dinner he asked me to play fighting dinosaurs. There are no dinosaurs at all anymore, but the game of wrestling and pillow throwing and jumping and falling and pretending to destroy each other with secret weapons is still called “fighting dinosaurs” and we let it evolve. We’ve been playing on the newly carpeted sun porch, for softer landings. And I have so many pillows to throw out there. Then he had to have a shower and I had to lead my Tuesday night writers. And I had a great start of a new group. And as I was in group I had watched the moon rise up into the pines and when I was done I went out in the dark night where the moon was bright above the trees and walked up and down the driveway just to get some time with the moon in autumn. It’s here. It has begun.
