#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
The sun was lighting the clouds this morning when I woke and it wasn’t raining. No wind. Where has the storm gone? Soon, the rain started. A bit of wind. We got rain all day for sure, but it was mild and I sat in the sun room working on a poem. Last night I had my first AI dream. Disturbing. Later, when I mentioned it to my daughter she said she had one last night too! In the dream, we humans were no longer in charge. Careers were assigned to us. We had to draw lots for where’d we live, anywhere around the world we could be sent. Luck of the draw. There wasn’t any sense or larger plan. We just had to be put somewhere and there was no process for objecting. No way to cheat the system. I was assigned to be a dancer. I don’t remember where I was sent to live. Someone stole my assignment and slipped me their’s. Yikes. I didn’t get to hear my daughter’s yet. Probably many of us are having disturbing AI dreams. Today was a full on recovery day. I was tired. My hip is tweaked from yesterday’s walk. I just took it easy all day. Enjoyed Wave when he came up and played with his toys on my bed while I napped. Just no energy. And I was fine with that. We took Wave to see the Coyote versus Acme movie tonight and it was very funny, I laughed a lot, and he enjoyed that. As we pulled into the driveway there were a few police cars in the road next to a hardwood tree fallen into the road by the river. We held our breath, crossed our fingers that the our electricity hadn’t gone out. Nope! Electricity intact. The rain is not projected to stop. Franci and Will off on their honeymoon and I miss them already.
