Wave climbs in so his mother can go to yoga on this rainy morning. Grass puddles over the lawn and field. I work on the newest poem. Three eggs or the boy. Two hot chocolates. When his mother gets home I go out into the rain and walk around a bit to see if the brook is full, yes. Many fewer branches down that I thought, and that’s good. I walked up the street and into an open meadow and didn’t mind getting wet. It wasn’t really cold and it felt so good to be outside! Then I swam a good swim indoors and spent more time on my new poem. Pretty quiet weekend in the storm. I started the rough material for another poem. So, as far as writing and exercise and some time around Wave today and the rain replenishing the brook it was a pretty good day.
