Up at 4 A.M. to return. Easy exit. At Logan, after landing and heading home I notice that there are bright leaves still on a few trees. The sun is shining in a very blue sky, blue as the one we just visited. A lovely homecoming. The rest of the day, most of it, the pleasure of being with Wave and playing all of our fun games. The house in good shape. No need to food shop. We went for a hike in the sun. We laughed a lot. Then off to his gymnastics class where I got to see him do his routines of learning. A little bit of work on the plane. I am refreshed. A wide awake plane ride. The sun on the river. All the maple leaves in the big bright tree have fallen to the ground. Thanksgiving comes.
