The warming is lovely. Heat turned off. So mild and pleasant. After my swim I walked to the river, picked up a few sticks. Just wanted to be near the current. The birds are cleaning the trees of the bright red berries, preparing for winter. Everything looks autumn messy. I have a client, once cancels and also Israeli Group and then I am free to bake. That’s all I want to accomplish this afternoon. Two pies, pumpkin and blueberry, and a batch of Franci’s favorite Ranger cookies. Wave helps me with the batter, of course. It’s nice to have him home from school, playing nearby and Frank relaxing in the afternoon. We are all looking forward to our treat tonight: Wave’s first movie theater movie! Me, Frank, Perri, Land and Wave go to see the opening of Zootopia. It could be a couple of years since I’ve been into a movie theater. I feel very out of touch. Our seats are super comfortable and there is no crowd. We eat lots of treats and the movie is fun and funny and at the end all Wave wants to know is when can we come back again. So, he’s impressed. I’m glad the movie theaters are still around for Wave to enjoy. This is a very relaxing holiday to enjoy.
