In bed early, very tired tonight. Started day by writing my weekly writing prompt, then dashing off to the pool for my swim. I was a little slow in the pool. Physically tired. Then home to change and dry off before going to the town next door where my friend was helping to run an annual 5k. I had signed up, and the weather was dry and milder than I expected, so I went. Got to walk with my friends through lovely neighborhoods with the roads empty of cars. It was really festive and fun. Afternoon given to playing with Wave, indoors and out. Afternoon flew by. Never made it back to my computer. And then we had a very nice family dinner in honor of my son’s birthday last Monday. Scallops and mussels. I cooked the scallops, Frank did the mussels. It was a lot of work and worth it. A lingering meal with our birthday ritual of telling the birthday celebrant what we most appreciate about them, especially over the past year. Cleaning up then playing more with Wave and I am beat. A happy and busy and full day.
