#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
The bunnies are not missing Charlie. They have become quite comfortable hanging out close the house. Like this one, a bunny for easter, posing for my camera. I went out for my walk after finding a way in to a new poem and I was also eager to get back to it. It was so pleasantly warm. I went for a mile swim. And then I worked most of the day on my poem until I got a first draft. Opened the windows, let the warm air drift in. Frank and I discussed this year’s garden. He agreed with me that all the beds need to be raised waist high. Because, well, bunnies and ground hogs. So he ordered them to be delivered. A first step. A start. All the yard work is waiting. But I’m committed to the poems. Tonight we had the three kids home for dinner and games. My youngest asked if anyone had gotten her a chocolate bunny. Not this year. Just the un-chocolate one on the steps by the daffodils.
