#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
First of my hydrangea in bloom
Today we bought plants for the garden. I was working on my poem when Frank came home from his meeting. We bought many vegetables and herbs––not planted yet. But all of the planters he bought—the high ones, are now set up. There was such a wonderful wonderful breeze today. Cloudy all morning then spectacularly clear by late afternoon. I went for a walk, a short one, before my swim. Determined not to clear brush. Enough, Kelly. And by the time I reached a part next to the river that I’ve been working on I couldn’t help myself. I worked by the river, happily in the breeze, cleaning up. So pleasant to be out so near the river, to smell and hear the river. By late afternoon my poem came into decent shape. For now. Enough progress to feel I got somewhere. Dinner on the deck with the birds and the breeze and the hydrangea in bloom.
