Travel day. A few moments with Wave in the morning, after my swim. A kiss goodbye. A nine-hour overnight flight. Everything going smoothly except sleep. Listening to a new book on Audible about the painter, Paul Gaugin––Wild Thing: A Life of Paul Gauguin, by Sue Prideaux.
