A little bit of shade on our walk to Hydra
Awake at 9:00 and we were anchored in a lovely cove. How late a wake up for me! It was a very very good rock and rolling sleep. After breakfast I swam and swam. Po and I swam to a rocky, deserted beach. It was all rocks in the hot sun and we did our ritual of lying on top of the white stones on our backs in our wet bathing suits, and putting hot stones on our bellies, sternum. Today I focused also on my throat chakra. And my third eye. I had an inspiration for a poem. And then we swam back to our gulet. It was such a fun, relaxing day. I sat down and wrote my poem. Or, at least the first half of it, as I think it has another part which I will write tomorrow. So, I am bringing poems home. All for the manuscript. In the heat of afternoon, Geoff, Po and I walked the edge of the sea on a beautiful path to the port of Hydra where we met the rest of our gang who were dropped by skiff. Yes, it was a hot walk, but stunning. We got to get a close up look as we passed the helios windmill. Some shopping and snacks in the bustling port. Lovely shops. Then we took a ride in the skiff back to our boat. More swims, more relaxation. More lovely being waited on. This is such a phenomenal treat. To have no one to take care, no house or yard to take care of, and I am being taken care of by a very attentive and friendly staff. All our meals on the boat today around our oval table for nine. And the sun set behind the purple hills. We watched the sky for hours. A crescent moon rose above the hill.
