#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Last day
Ah, awake into the final full day. Sunshine, coffee, the warm water & delight of seeing the captain and the first mate arrive back to the boat on the skiff with my lost purchases locked in the pharmacy. Hooray! Such a long and lovely last relaxation. A swim before breakfast, a swim after breakfast, and then we departed for our final stops. I took a swim in a very tough current with Po, a few times around the boat, and swallowed my allowance of salt for the next month, but it was worth it. The sun on the waves, the wind in my face, the water so soft. All of our meals today on the boat. We pulled into port where we will be taken to airport in the morning. An hour or two to do a final quick shop. We wandered around to find a toy that would delight Wave, and we were in luck. Back with our bags to the boat. We had the most lovely, intimate, sweet dinner yet, around our oval table, saying our appreciations to each other about how memorable and meaningful our time together has been. Every one of us spoke our words of thanks and appreciations and favorite moments as the sun went down and the sky darkened, and all the lights of surrounding ships came on. Leanne gave her goddess presentation on Selene which was lovely, and then I did mine on Hestia, and passed the bag with the wind chime gifts purchased for each couple to take home to their own hearth. All the crew came in after and we thanked them profusely for their fine service. Tonight I am so grateful for this remarkable experience.
