Evening before storm

July, hello, and welcome. Tonight, a thunderstorm in the early evening. Some rain. Precious rain. Not enough rain, but lots of lightning. Just after I watered the garden. The groundhog is eating my shrubs, but not the vegetables, Our new containers, waist high, keep all the animals out. Tonight I harvested lettuces and kale and made a very nice salad for me and my daughter. This morning I swam after working on some writing, at Kingsbury, not Farm Pond. It was overcast, but warm and pleasant. Home to do brush clearing and then clients. Inside most of the rest of the hot hot day. Except my main computer had to be taken to the Apple Store. I’m grateful to have a back up. House still too quiet without Wave. Treated my youngest to a pedicure in the late afternoon. Sleepy tonight as I adjust back to our time zone. Everything is overgrown and needs trimming. Which I find very relaxing.
