#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
A day that started cloudy and cleared, beautiful sky. I woke without a party to organize with happy thoughts about the weekend. Time with Wave, first thing. He had today off, of course, and plenty of new things to play with, so we spent some time putting together a new lego set. Then I went out for a walk, not feeling terribly energetic, and cleared sticks instead. I had woken early to revise my poem. Not very happy with it, but good enough to send. So we had a good morning session with poetry. I felt behind with emails and all, but began to get caught up. I had a wish fulfillment dream of sorts: an editor said she was considering publishing my poetry manuscript and she’d decide within two weeks. Very encouraging. And yet, a dream, after all. This afternoon I knew I needed a nap and fell into a long deep and necessary nap. And Franci and Will came for pickleball in the sunny late afternoon and we all played well, and the games were tight, but Frank and I won two out of three! Then dinner, and hearing about their honeymoon in Hawaii. Lots of moving parts around the house this week, comings and goings. And the trees are lovely, colorful and cheerful all around.
