#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Overslept, but somehow Wave made the bus. I was making his egg, kind of blind-tired and didn’t even realize he and his mother had hurried up to the bus. A very slow start for the holiday. Still, I got out for my long walk. I walked through the woods to Farm Pond and not for a swim, just a walk. It was lovely, with the foliage reflecting on the water. I saw two people going in for a dip. I had a lot of catching up to do today and my Ukrainian group at noon. Always great to connect. We are all in different countries now. Then a writing client. I thought I’d take a break after that, still tired, but I ended up finding the energy to tackle a cluttered room and more and it felt good to get this project done. No writing today, but some thinking while on my walk. Tomorrow is a busy group day, but by Thursday I hope to return to working on my new poems. I edited an essay for my daughter, the doula, and it’s great. I love to see her writing.
