#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Happy Halloween! I woke and the sun again was bright and the sky quite blue, a perfect day for a kayak to see the beaver’s dam. I invited Perri, who said yes right away and off into the brisk and bright morning we went on the gorgeous Charles. The last flickering light of the foliage reflecting on the river. A bit of a wind. We got to the dam, Perri seeing it for the first time, and happily impressed. We pulled our kayaks over the dam and went on to the lake where we paddled around before heading home. I was going to spend the day working and writing, but Franci wanted time this afternoon, so I chose time with both my daughters and we went shopping and then Perri and I went off to Cambridge for an unusual event, a sound event, a sound journey at a cafe in Cambridge, that was a kind of Jungian journey in a sound bath. It was pretty cool and we both came away having had a meditative visualization. As we came close to our landing in the kayaks this morning there were quite a few hawks soaring in the blue above us. Two hawks had an airborne fight, and one of the dropped the fish in the beak and it fell into the other hawks’s mouth!
