Today I met the challenge of patience. All the gang here, and the fun of sharing the joy of this place with everyone. My walk delayed, waiting for everyone, and then had to let it go. Which was fine. We went into one of our favorite outdoor restaurants and met with my brother’s family and had a huge table of us for breakfast. After that, pickle ball. Today the headline was wind. High, high winds blowing the waves and the trees and all of us. Still we got two pickle ball courts and did our best in the sun and the wind. Then off to my sister-in-law’s yoga class in their beautiful shala overlooking the pool. Nine of us on mats. So fun to do family yoga! Billie did a great job introducing us to Kaiut yoga, her practice. Of course her kids were already familiar. I was so full of joy to be making this dream of being together here come true in such an exceptional way. I had a later walk in the wind and sand blowing had at me. By myself, in the quiet. The beach mostly deserted. Only a very few surfers out. We went back to beach for sunset swim but it was too windy, I was nervous of the current. A short nap in the sand. I’m quite dusted through but too tired tonight even for a shower. A lovely dinner at an Italian restaurant, ten of us. Two big fun meals out and I’m beat. But this morning I DID start ordering my manuscript! Agh, I must sleep now. Wind blowing the trees against the roof.
