#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Sunset, Playa Pelada
The windy weather crazy blowing continued today. Out, as usual, for my walk. Went alone at 7:00 a.m. Crazy wind. Sand-slapped and blown around. Still, I persevered. The waves all wind-spray, but pleasant sun. Then back home for poetry workshop. And my poem didn’t work. I was surprised, because I thought it was working. But no need to feel defensive. I’m not sure what I’ll do next. The questions about it will help me sort it out. So, then I went off for family time. We went to the Bodhi Yoga resort and took a Yin class, me, Franci, my niece, Will, my sister-in-law and son. The yoga studio was all glass and lovely, but hot, since the electricity was off. Cooled off at the beach. The water cold, but the wind had died down. Then all of us off to Playa Pelada for dinner and sunset. Tomorrow this unusual wind should be gone. So many palm branches and bamboo trees down in the road, we dodged them riding home. On the beach this morning I loved seeing all the colorful leaves blowing into the tide pools.
