#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Cacti, umbrellas and glitter-water
Day begins in sunny, warm Florida, ends in snowy, cold New England. Yet, I am happy to be home. Bright snow in the yard, lights on in the windows. It was an easy trip home starting at noon. This morning I woke and wrote and sent my monthly newsletter out to subscribers before going out for my walk. My hip fine today, having adapted. And then, as it happens, the sand was firmer. It was a lovely last morning. I walked five miles and then had a nice lap swim. Frank finished up and we ended our trip, heading to the airport. On the plane I read my friend’s beautiful poetry manuscript as she had asked me for a blurb, and by the time we landed I had the blurb, strong praise, sent off. House clean and quiet. Perhaps a ski on this deep snow tomorrow.
