#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
A powdery white moon rising in the sky tonight as we played pickle ball in the early evening with friends. Such a pleasant and comfortable sunny day. Many stars in a clear sky as we say goodbye to our friends after dinner. Frank and I do a little cleaning up. The house is quiet for the weekend now with Wave gone. After walking to the pond, swimming, and walking home, I go back to the pond in the afternoon so I can have a swim with Wave to the raft before he goes. This is his chance for his mother to see how well he’s swimming. Before going out this morning I worked on the draft of the poem I started last night and I like the direction it starts going in—I feel like I’m on to something. Still sorting out, day by day, how these poems will be a manuscript. Tomorrow I will have more writing time and hope to make more progress, finding my way. In the side garden I am delighted to find this hosta flower—one of a very few that the bunnies haven’t devoured. And the cardinal flower, bright red, is in bloom as well, a few stalks I transplanted years ago from the brook. Cheerful blooms.
