#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Morning at the Charles
A bright morning to sleep in. Awake in the middle of night, trouble getting back to sleep. But overall a good rest and Wave was up bright and early wanting to go in the pool first thing. So, I went for my meadow walk first and stopped in the shade by the river’s edge and admired the watery reflections of trees for a summer morning. Then I met Wave and we played and played in the pool until I had to get ready for my Israeli group and a board meeting of the Women’s Writing Collective, Inc., newly forming as a new iteration of the IWWG. Then, back to the water! Wave and I went to Farm Pond and swam and played and played and swam and had an amazing time. A short time after we got home from the pond he was fast asleep. My daughter is sending me some of her wedding pix which she got today, so I’m including a couple below of my brother reading during the ceremony an excerpt from the wedding in Our Town, by Thornton Wilder, in the role of the Stage Manager, and me reading my oratory as part of the service.
