Goldfinch, Katama

Early walk, eight miles, very warm, hot sun. My last walk here of the season. Stopped to admire this wonderful goldfinch by the sea. There were many lovely parts of the day, but the highlight was this evening having dinner with my brother and nieces and nephews and grandniece at their home here, and a delicious dinner made by my sister-in-law. Tomorrow Wave and Perri are getting cats. Two. A mother an son. Wave has been waiting a long time for this happiness.
