Today was the perfect late summer almost fall weather. Sunny, warm, not too warm, and what a wonderful breeze. Except while I was swimming, that’s the only time I didn’t appreciate the wonderful breeze as the water was choppy to and from the pump house on my swim. I was overtired this morning and kind of went on my walk to the pond on automatic. My father-in-law arrives today and I got the house ready for a guest and then went to the pond in the sunshine. A little grumbly. Still processing sadness and the loss of my aunt. So it was good just to have thinking and feeling time, sorting things out. After I got out of the pond, tired from the chop, I started walking home and realized how great I felt. Mood changed. My energy was high and I felt cheerful and hopeful. I love how exercise gives that! So, a nice walk home and a chance to get caught up on a lot at my computer in the quiet house. Wave still away. Nice to have Frank Sr. here out at the tennis court with his son. I ran into this snapper unexpectedly while walking along the train tracks on the way home. She/he came from the marshy area and seemed to be heading toward the river. I said nice to meet you and we parted ways.
